Make sure you know what to do when a battery needs a complete reset.
To ensure maximum uptime for end users and dealers with their equipment, UgoWork employs real-time monitoring of battery usage. Occasionally, a complete battery reset becomes necessary for maintenance or debugging purposes. Follow these steps to reset your UgoWork battery:
Step 1: Secure and park
Securely park the forklift in a safe location.
Step 2: Forklift shutdown
Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position to shut down the forklift.
Step 3: Battery shutdown

Turn the ON/OFF button on the battery to the OFF position.
Wait for the LEDs on the battery to extinguish completely.
Step 4: Battery restart

Turn the battery's ON/OFF button to ON.
Wait for the LEDs on the battery to begin blinking.
Step 5: Push button activation
Press the battery's push button. Wait for the contactor to close, indicated by a clicking sound, and for the LEDs to stop flashing.
Step 6: Battery readiness check
Ensure the battery is ready for operation:
- If one LED is flashing: PLUG IN THE BATTERY
- If the buzzer goes off: PLUG IN THE BATTERY
- If at least one green light is steady on, you can proceed to the next step
Step 7: Ignition restart
Turn the forklift's ignition switch to the ON position.
Following these steps will help you successfully reset your UgoWork battery, ensuring it is ready for optimal performance.
